Addison Birth

Three weeks ago I had the opportunity to photograph the most beautiful thing a woman can do.  And it was AMAZING.  I was honored to be a part of it.

It was a long night anxiously awaiting the arrival of baby girl.  We had all guessed she would arrive before sunrise but to our surprise waiting until a little after 8.

This momma made it look easy when we know childbirth is far from it.  I was so proud of her and so excited to be chosen to be in the room to capture this miraculous moment.    Baby Addison was perfect with all fingers and toes accounted for.  

The nurses made a special effort to make sure the parents were happy.  The dad wasn’t able to cut the umbilical cord during delivery so they made sure he was able to help clean it up a bit afterwards.  

Momma and baby were rockstars with daddy cheering them on.
