Jess + Mike Wedding

I’ve known Jessica for years and was thrilled when she asked if I would be able to photograph her wedding. And of course I said yes.

On the wedding day I arrived and began taking a few pictures of the beautiful decor and the arriving guests, as usual. The sun was hidden behind the clouds and there was a nice breeze. It was perfect.

It was 90 degrees even though it was October, so the breeze was welcome. But then halfway though the ceremony insane winds started gusting. Unoccupied chairs were flying, decor breaking and hair becoming horizontal.

This newly married couple was not bothered. They embraced the day and it was beautiful to witness. Things are just that, things. And the rain even allowed enough of a break for a few portraits.

The detail shots of the bride and groom were done while we waited for the rain to subside. When it did we ran quickly to get some portraits done but then it started to pour again. And it gave us some GREAT shots.

These two wore nothing but smiles and had such a great time. It was amazing to capture the union of such beautiful souls. Ya’ll are adorable! Thank you guys for having me and I wish you all the happiness in the world for your adventure! 💕💕
